D.A. Boswell Co. was founded as a sole proprietorship in 1983 and is owned and operated by the founder Don Boswell. The company was started as a "handyman" business and has grown to a full service remodeling and new home company. The company office was moved to Blair from his home in 1996 and has been serving the Blair and surrounding communities since.The company office has recently been moved back to Herman, Nebraska
As the company grew and the type of projects changed Boswell acquired a computer in the early nineties and began to digitize all the functions of the business including CAD capabilities to produce professional plans and to aid the client in visualizing their dreams, a plotter to produce the drawings in a readable manner and estimating software to accurately calculate project costs.
The company (D.A. Boswell Co.) now offers a greater variety of projects and capabilities including:

- Repair and remodeling projects ranging from basement finishing to roofing and everything in between

D.A. Boswell Co. uses innovative support systems and building systems such as Vanguard Manabloc water delivery systems, high tech smart house solutions, Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) wall systems, panelized standard wall systems and Icynene foam insulation systems. Projects sizes have ranged from just a few thousand dollars to $850,000.00
